Jonathan Pope Evans, US, 13', 2012

A young man murders his best friend because he is gay. As he is preparing to bury the body, he goes on a spiritual journey and repressed feelings are discovered. This experimental narrative is based on the 2004 hate crime in rural Alabama. A young gay man named Scotty Joe Weaver was brutally murdered because of his sexuality by his roommate and friend Robert Porter. The film is a fractured, experimental investigation into the crime and the root of violence against gay men.

There's something missing in Tristan and Zooey's relationship. Zooey has spent weeks planning a road trip to a mysterious roadside attraction known as "The Thing" in the hopes that she and Tristan will reconnect. Both Tristan, a transgendered man, and his fluffy grey cat Steven struggle to find places to comfortably pee, while Zooey learns the open road isn’t everything she hoped it would be. Will they find what they're looking for at "The Thing"?

Charles Ludlam, US, 22', 1987

Charles Ludlam's MUSEUM OF WAX remained incomplete, and silent, at the time of his death in 1987. The restoration of this film was produced by Queer/Art/Film for a screening on February 22, 2010 at the IFC Center in New York City, its first in over twenty years. The film includes an entirely new score created by Peter Golub, longtime composer for the Ridiculous Theatrical Company.
